i know plenty of folks who will fix something for the fun of it

team frame sponsors change, and riders are obligated to use new equipment. fortunately, bike are not all that different. generally, available frame sizes match up pretty well. the only things that needs to be done is to sort out what stem will give the same stack and reach as the old setup - with the variety of options from stem sponsors, there's sometimes more than one spacer/stem setup that gets equally close to the previous position, when the bar position is sufficiently high above the head tube. so, you get to choose which you think looks better (flat with spacers, up with fewer spacers)

One of the latest new power meters seems to be suffering from product development woes. Some heard about it back in 2009, and it seemed promising enough. We have power measuring hubs, cranks, and chains (sort of), so why not pedals? Fast forward three years, and it's still not available.
The way I see it, there are three critical components to these things...
